Thank you for dropping by.  This site was put up to showcase the beginnings of my foray into metal sculpture.

I have been a metal mangler nearly all of my life, and whilst I had a job for twelve years, which had nothing to do with steel, I still managed to come home to my small shed, and make things.  I must have iron in my blood...

Now, whilst I don't like the term, I have moved into what some people term, semi retirement.  Not because I am old and frail, but because, if I don't make the break now, I will never have the years ahead of me, to enjoy, making my OWN creations.

Okay, don't get me wrong here.  I still, to this very day, get a buzz, walking around my shop, at the end of each working day, with a beer and cigarette, admiring, marvelling, and sometimes being just plain ecstatic about what I have done, even if it is the same job I was working on yesterday.  I then, get to go home, and have more beers and cigarettes, and retell Louise all about my day, and what I have made.  I have even been known to bring small articles of work in progress, home with me, to show'n'tell, trouble is, my fridge won't hold them all, like kids pre school pictures!

So, after many years, fabricating steel for other people, to their briefs, I have decided, to try my hand at putting my own ideas into reality.

I have the ideas, I have the skills, and I have the drive.
